Beauty Salon
A 70 m² Kaunas beauty salon designed like a retreat — arched, backlit styling stations in warm microcement.
The brief
A 70 m² beauty salon in Kaunas whose owner wanted to escape the clinical, bright-white look of typical salons. The goal: a space where clients feel they’ve stepped into a spa-like retreat, where the interior itself signals the standard of care — and where every corner works for the social-media moment modern beauty businesses live on.
The concept
The salon is composed as a sequence of soft arches in warm, sand-toned microcement. Each styling station sits inside its own illuminated arch — a halo of LED light framing the mirror, flattering for clients and practical for stylists. Product niches glow like a perfumery wall, turning retail display into decoration. A curved bouclé sofa and dried pampas grass complete the calm, tactile welcome. It’s commercial interior design working as quiet marketing: a salon clients photograph, tag and come back to.
Materials
Warm microcement, arched joinery with integrated LED lighting, pale timber worktops, cream leather and bouclé seating, and aged-clay accents — soft, durable finishes made for daily salon life.
