Mood
A collected 95 m² Kaunas apartment in walnut and oak, anchored by a green-marble centrepiece.
The brief
A 95 m² apartment in Kaunas for clients who live surrounded by books and like their home to feel settled rather than styled. The brief asked for warmth, generous storage that doesn’t look like storage, and distinct places for work, guests and rest within one coherent interior.
The concept
The apartment is organised around a full-height oak library wall — part bookcase, part room divider — that gives the living space its collected, lived-in character. Walnut panelling and backlit shelving carry warmth from room to room, while a pair of nested green-marble tables anchors the seating area like a piece of sculpture. A dedicated working room and a guest room fold quietly into the plan, proof that thoughtful apartment interior design can make 95 square metres live like more.
Materials
Walnut and oak veneer, verde marble, cream bouclé upholstery, brushed metal details and soft wool carpet — natural materials chosen to deepen, not date.
